The Twins aren’t having any trouble manufacturing their own energy these days. Injuries seem less painful, days don’t seem nearly as long and the clubhouse seems as lively as it was early in the season. It’s been nearly five years since Minnesota last found itself in a playoff race in September, and that race is providing all the energy it needs — even with a long stretch of games remaining.
