Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz, currently serving a 50-game suspension that runs through the end of the regular season, gave a brief statement to the media at the Ballpark in Arlington on Friday, once again apologizing for violating the Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program in relation and expressing hope that he will be on the postseason roster if the team advances that far.
