After right-hander Dillon Gee posted his first quality start of the season, it seemed as though the Royals might finally have some consistency at the No. 5 spot in the rotation. Instead, Gee was called on to pitch the final two innings of Wednesday night’s 3-2 walk-off win in 14 innings against the White Sox, which put his scheduled start on Saturday in jeopardy.
