Alex Gordon is taking the next step toward returning from the scaphoid bone fracture in his right wrist that has sidelined him since a scary foul-territory collision with Mike Moustakas on May 22. The Royals’ left fielder will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Northwest Arkansas on Sunday, the team announced on Saturday.
