A’s right-handed pitcher Chris Bassitt was seen on Thursday by Dr. Timothy Kremchek in Cincinnati. Dr. Kremchek is of the opinion that Bassitt needs ulnar collateral ligament replacement surgery on his right elbow, and the surgery is scheduled to take place on Friday at Beacon Orthopedics.
