The White Sox recalled Scott Carroll from Triple-A Charlotte prior to their Wednesday night game against the Oakland A’s. Carroll, 30, has posted a 1-1 record with a 3.41 ERA in 13 relief appearances with the White Sox, and he was 7-4 with a 3.47 ERA in 16 starts for Charlotte this season.
