Veteran shortstop Erick Aybar returned to the Angels’ lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the Royals at Kauffman Stadium, after sitting out the last three games with tightness in his lower back. The Angels also announced a series of roster moves, with starter Matt Shoemaker getting optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake, and shortstop Taylor Featherston and reliever Cory Rasmus getting placed on the disabled list.
