The Twins placed Byron Buxton, the second overall pick in the 2012 MLB Draft, on the 15-day disabled list Friday with a sprained left thumb. Minnesota recalled infielder Danny Santana from Triple-A Rochester to fill Buxton’s slot on the active roster.
