The Braves traded closer Craig Kimbrel and outfielder Melvin Upton Jr. to the Padres on Sunday in exchange for outfielders Cameron Maybin and Carlos Quentin. Atlanta also acquired two highly regarded prospects — right-handed pitcher Matt Wisler and outfielder Jordan Paroubeck — and the 41st pick in the 2015 First-Year Player Draft.
