Pirates right-hander Gerrit Cole landed on the 15-day disabled list Sunday because of fatigue in his right shoulder. Left-hander Jeff Locke was called up from Triple-A Indianapolis to start Sunday, and sinkerballer Charlie Morton had his assignment pushed back a day to face the Cubs on Monday in what would’ve been Cole’s next start.
