The search for a starting pitcher to replace Andrew Cashner in the rotation in time for a start Sunday certainly didn’t qualify as exhaustive or laborious. All manager Bud Black had to do was take a look to his bullpen, as he tabbed rookie Donn Roach to start Sunday against the Rockies after Cashner landed on the 15-day disabled list with elbow soreness.
