Pirates relievers Jared Hughes and Vin Mazzaro were called up from Indianapolis, taking the rosters spots of Brandon Cumpton, optioned to the Triple-A club, and Stolmy Pimentel, placed on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder inflammation.
