Pinch-hitter Chris Heisey delivered a game-winning single with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Reds a 1-0 victory over the Cardinals on Wednesday night. Left-hander Tony Cingrani threw seven shutout innings, allowing two hits and striking out nine, opposite Cardinals starter Michael Wacha’s 6 2/3 scoreless frames.
