Gio Gonzalez allowed one run over six innings, and added a solo homer as the Nationals topped the Mets, 5-1, on Wednesday night at Citi Field in New York. Ian Desmond also homered, while Adam LaRoche had an RBI double and Denard Span scored two runs.
