General manager Chris Antonetti announced that the club has informed reliever Vinnie Pestano and utility man Elliot Johnson that they will begin the season on the Tribe’s active roster. Cleveland released outfielder Jeff Francoeur and let outfielder Matt Carson know that he will start the season with Triple-A Columbus.
