The week ahead will be one of literal and figurative transition, with the calendar changing to February and moving closer to Spring Training, which open in less than three weeks with the arrival of pitchers and catchers. But don’t think for a second that there isn’t a lot of unfinished winter business that could be attended to in the next seven days.
