A.J. Griffin pitched seven strong innings to win his fourth consecutive start, and the A’s used another big inning of offense en route to an 8-2 victory over the Twins on Thursday afternoon at Target Field. The A’s picked up a half-game on idle Texas and now lead the AL West by 3 1/2 games.
