After dash home, Jeter feels he’s ‘ready to go’

Playing in his second rehab game with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday night, Yankees captain Derek Jeter found himself breaking hard for home plate on a wild pitch and sliding in safely just ahead of the throw. If all goes according to plan, Jeter will play one more game at Triple-A, on Saturday, before joining the Yankees in Toronto on Monday.
