It was at Nationals Park where Neil Diamond gave the first live performance of his new single “Freedom Song (They’ll Never Take us Down).” Diamond performed the song from the Lexus Presidents Club behind home plate after the bottom of the third inning of the Nationals’ game against the Brewers on Thursday, the earliest Major League contest on the Fourth of July.
