As expected, Nationals right fielder Jayson Werth was placed on the 15-day disabled list before Saturday’s game against the Cubs because of a right hamstring injury. On Friday, Werth, who hasn’t played since May 2 against the Braves, had spasms in the hamstring when he tried to do leg curls.
