Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez has opted to go against convention while utilizing All-Star closer Craig Kimbrel over the past few days. His decision to do so again on Sunday afternoon helped the Braves extend the game long enough to claim a sweep-clinching 3-2 win over the Mets in 10 innings. The Braves produced the go-ahead run in the 10th on Brian McCann's sacrifice fly.
