Alexi Amarista had an RBI double and Edinson Volquez had just enough command as the Padres downed the Mariners 2-0 in front of 27,529 at Petco Park on Sunday. Volquez yielded just two runs in 6 2/3 innings to earn the victory and give the Padres the series win.
