Houston selected prep shortstop Carlos Correa with the first pick of the 2012 First-Year Player Draft on Monday. The Twins picked after Houston, and they snapped up one of the Draft's most electrifying talents in outfielder Byron Buxton. Mark Appel dropped out of the top 5 and went No. 8 to the Bucs.
