Following a pain-free session of batting practice and other baseball drills Monday, Jason Kipnis said it was up to the coaches and trainers to activate him from the disabled list. The club granted the rookie second baseman his wish on Tuesday, when the Indians activated Kipnis from the 15-day DL prior to their game against the division-leading Tigers.
