Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard was ejected in the third inning of Saturday’s 9-1 loss to Los Angeles for throwing behind the back of Dodgers second baseman Chase Utley, who broke Ruben Tejada’s leg with a takeout slide in National League Division Series Game 2.
