According to MLB.com’s T.R. Sullivan, the Rangers and Phillies have agreed to a deal that would send ace left-hander Cole Hamels to Texas for a group of prospects, including two of the Rangers’ top six prospects, as ranked by MLBPipeline.com. The Rangers have been one of several teams linked to Hamels and are not on Hamels’ no-trade list, according to MLB.com’s Todd Zolecki. Neither club has confirmed the deal.
